HEY! I'M KAIT!
I am a former competitive dancer and accountant who, through my personal journey and education with Active Life, has become passionate about helping individuals learn to prioritize their health without sacrificing the things they enjoy most in life. Born and raised in Long Island, NY, I have been a local in the Long Beach community since 2017, where I reside with my husband.
I started dancing at the age of 3 and continued through college as a member of the University of Delaware Dance Team, where I became a 3x National Champion. In 2012, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance and immediately went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. I worked in the finance industry for 10 years before deciding to take a leap of faith out of my comfort zone and switch careers.
As a former dancer, I spent most of my younger years trying to be the skinniest version of myself. I was introduced to strength and conditioning as part of the dance team, but I always thought it would never be something I could find enjoyment in, so I stopped after college. After taking a year off from exercising, I was determined to get back into some sort of movement. While working in finance, I spent those same 10 years experimenting and trying to reset my mindset around exercise and nutrition. Through years of research, trial and error, and learning from Active Life, I have been able to find my own balance and a new level of enjoyment while living an active lifestyle.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends. My favorite activities include going to the beach and working on my fitness. I love carbs, coffee, traveling, and football. I thoroughly enjoy feeling like I am getting the most out of life and living it to its fullest potential.
As a Fitness and Nutrition Coach, and through my education at Active Life, I am equipped to work with your unique strengths and limitations to help you break free of your comfort zone so you can reach your full potential. With my guidance, you will build the education, strength, and confidence you need to embrace your active lifestyle and improve the quality of your life without having to give up the things you enjoy most.
